About Us

Celebrate Great Falls Foundation is a non-profit organization in Great Falls, VA, that celebrates our unique village by sponsoring local traditions and community events throughout the year and bringing our neighbors together to build and preserve our small town spirit and sense of community.

We are supported by local business and community organization sponsorships, which help ensure the continuation of the programs and events that have become Great Falls traditions, including the 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks, Concerts on the Green, Halloween Spooktacular, Celebration of Lights, and more.

Each year our organization raises money to support our three local elementary schools through the Online Silent Auction.  Celebrate Great Falls also partners with the community on local service projects.

Our History

In 1998, The Brogue Charities was founded by longtime unofficial mayor of Great Falls and owner of The Old Brogue, Mike Kearney, with the goal of helping local citizens in need and lending support to local projects and community events.

In 2010, Mike and a group of local leaders renamed The Brogue Charities and officially established Celebrate Great Falls Foundation (CGFF) as the organization it is today – welcoming new neighbors, partnering with local organizations on community events, and supporting local traditions.

Our Mission

Celebrate Great Falls Foundation strives to build and preserve a sense of community spirit in Great Falls by:

- Engaging both new and existing residents through participation and volunteerism

- Serving as the primary organization for continuing local traditions and community events
