Paint Great Falls

Paint Great Falls is a week-long Plein Air competition held throughout Great Falls each spring. 

Painting "en plein air," which is French for “in the open air," refers to the art of painting entire works of art outdoors.  During the competition, artists paint beautiful landscapes of scenery and local landmarks across our village.

Join us to watch the artists paint on location at various spots in Great Falls all week long.  Then attend the Quick Paint competition on the Village Centre Green at the end of the week. 

To celebrate the conclusion of the competition, all community members are invited to stop by The Arts of Great Falls on Saturday evening for the Awards Reception, Art Show, and Art Sale.

Additionally, don't miss out on Friday, May 23 for the Quick Paint competition from 3:30 - 7:00pm on the Great Falls Village Centre Green. Don't miss this chance to immerse yourself in a week of creativity and community.
