Celebrate Great Falls Board Changes
At our December Board Meeting, Erin Lobato stepped down from her role on the Celebrate Great Falls foundation Board. Erin brilliantly served our community as a Board Member and Executive Director for the last 11 years. We are incredibly grateful to Erin for leading the charge and bringing our community together in so many ways over the years. We send our best wishes to Erin and her family as they embark on their next chapter.
Melissa Whitson
We are thrilled to announce Melissa Whitson as our newest Board member. Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota where she met her college sweetheart, and husband of nearly 20 years, Stewart Whitson. Melissa and Stew moved to Great Falls in 2017 and love raising their five children (Will 16, Kate 14, Tom 12, Elle 10 and Mary 7) in what she thinks is the most darling small/big town on the east coast. She is the proud Director at Great Falls United Methodist Preschool (GFUMP) where she has been happily working since 2021. Working with young people is her passion and loving on the children in Great Falls brings her so much joy! Melissa is thrilled and honored for the opportunity to give back and serve the community of Great Falls, as it has provided her with so many cherished family experiences and memories with even more to come.
